Levitt Pavilion Denver has wrapped our 8th season of live music in Ruby Hill Park, building community on the newly improved lawn from May 24th with Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears to September 28th, when The Slackers gave us a big, joyful finale. This summer we were honored to host over 100 performing acts and more than 500 individual performers from across the globe.

We celebrated artists from Japan, Brazil, Nigeria, Colombia, Thailand, Mexico, Jamaica and beyond, while highlighting the exceptional depth of Colorado based talent. Local highlights included Blankslate, Osha Renee, She Who Won’t Be Named, Andy Frasco, Cherokee Social, Flobots, Circling Girl, Mariachi Estelares de Colorado, Neyla Pekarek, Beasts of No Nation, Rado, Hip Snacks and many more!

Throughout our 2025 concert season, presented by Kaiser Permanente, we welcomed over 100,000 music lovers to our lawn with an average show attendance for our free concerts at over 2,300 attendees, a record average attendance for our free series.

Reflecting on our 2025 season, Executive Director Meghan McNamara shared, “While each night at the venue is different, every one of our 40 free concerts this year had something in common — the magic of people of all ages, identities and lived experiences coming together for the joy and connection of live music.”

Season Highlights:

Record average attendance: Average attendance for our free concert series hit an all time high of over 2,300 per show, increasing from last year’s average by 29%.

Record single show attendance: Shakedown Street on June 28th set a new record for free series attendance, with Andy Frasco & the U.N. close behind with their concert on August 2nd.

Enhanced accessibility and audience experience: Early this year, we made significant investments in the venue with expanded accessible pathways, new lighting, new sound booth structure, patios and beautiful, durable synthetic turf throughout the lower bowl.

Extraordinary community investment: From Kaiser Permanente’s season title sponsorship, to the generosity of individual audience members who donated during shows, Levitt is on track for another record fundraising year — driven by community.

New partnerships: This year we created a new programming partnership with Girls Rock Denver, hosting their camper showcase with headliner Esme Patterson on July 11th where students performed their original songs they had created while at camp that week. On August 23rd, we welcomed the awe-inspiring multi-faceted performance of Passing the Crown featuring Rapsody, produced by the incredibly talented team at Wondersmith Entertainment, honoring the past, present and future of women in Hip Hop. We also collaborated with Boulder Philharmonic for the first time, performing live scores to three short Wallace & Gromit films appearing on the LED screens.

Building on legacy partnerships: This August we celebrated the 3rd annual All My Relations Celebration in partnership with founder and curator Helen Gover, of Quiet Star Collective, showcasing diverse expressions of modern indigenous music and movement, including Samoan-Hawaiian headliner Fia. This year’s event brought its largest crowd to date. Levitt once again partnered with Latino Cultural Arts Center and MSU Denver for the Viva Southwest Mariachi Fest, which aims to elevate Mariachi excellence by showcasing the all-state mariachi band along with a special headliner. For this year’s event, Lupita Infante headlined the event and shared the stage with the all-state band to end the night.

This season was filled with special memories and friends, new and old. We’re honored to provide this accessible third space to the Colorado community and we are so grateful to every community member who supports our work through advocacy, introducing friends, onsite donations, membership, sponsorship and more. We had fun, discovered new music and continued to build this home for Coloradans to experience music together.

We can’t wait to do it all again next season.
