SEASONAL POSITIONS

All seasonal openings for the 2026 season are listed below. Applications close on Monday, April 13th, 2026.

Facility Manager

Classification: Seasonal stipend role ($650/week est. May 11 – October 11, 2026), including one paid week off during the mid-season break

Location and Hours: Onsite, avg. 20-25 hours/week including nights and weekends for shows, and some midweek planning time

Reports To: Director of Venue Operations

Direct Reports: Site Crew

Description

The Facility Manager is responsible for the day-to-day, on-site management of Levitt Pavilion, ensuring the venue is fully set up, maintained, operated, and restored for all events and public use. This role oversees the seasonal Site Team, coordinates with vendors and contractors, and is essential in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment. Will work with Director of Venue Operations on venue readiness, safety, accessibility, and partner activations.

The Facility Manager plays a hands-on role in preparing the physical site for events, executing and adapting site maps and overseeing post-event breakdown and cleanup.


Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee and actively support the physical setup, operation, and breakdown of the venue for each event, ensuring the site is clean, safe, accessible, and event-ready. Duties include but aren’t limited to:

    • setting up barricade, tables, trash toters, and tents per the site map

    • cleaning and stocking restrooms for public events

    • occasional raking, leaf blowing and pressure washing

    • trash sweeps (before, during and following all events)

    • storing extra equipment and supplies

    • setting trash and recycling toters based on event needs

    • share of closing duties, to be coordinated with production and bar teams based on schedules

    • supervise hourly seasonal Site Crew 

  • Attend weekly team ops meeting, site map meeting

  • Maintain working knowledge of site equipment and supplies, tracking and replenishing inventory as needed

  • Coordinate on pre-event maintenance checklist with DPR Ruby HIll Park staff

  • Monitor backstage cleanliness, and working across production, bar and guest services staff to ensure that all areas of the venue are clean and safe at all times

  • Develop checklists to support consistent setup, maintenance, and cleanup throughout the season

  • Collaborate with operations and guest services staff to create and execute site maps, adjusting layouts as needed for specific events

  • In partnership with guest services manager, coordinate and oversee on-site sponsor and partner activations ensuring they’re aligned with approved site plans and venue guidelines


Additional Duties:

Regular attendance at all-staff and applicable meetings, clear and consistent communication, and appropriate use of Levitt tools and systems including Google calendars, shared files, Prism and Connecteam is expected. 

As a seasonal department lead, the Facility Manager contributes to regular staff and production meetings; provides mentorship and training to part-time and seasonal employees; identifies personnel, facility, and systems needs; and engages in ongoing EDI efforts.

As a growing non-profit organization and live concert venue, Levitt Pavilion expects flexibility and accountability from all team members. Nights and weekends will be required during the concert season and additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.


Competencies:

  • Venue Management — working knowledge and documentation of site logistics, crowd management, staffing needs and safety protocols

  • Basic maintenance skills - ability to address basic plumbing, electrical and hardware issues not already addressed by Denver Parks and Recreation staff. 

  • Team Leadership — ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse seasonal team to achieve shared goals and maintain a positive work environment

  • Inclusion — strong commitment to and understanding of accessibility and strategies to create an inclusive environment for individuals of all abilities and backgrounds

  • Emergency Preparedness — familiarity with creating and implementing emergency plans and procedures; commitment to ongoing learning and development of SOPs to enhance safety and security

  • Systems — Familiarity with Google Suite, spreadsheets and other planning and management tools preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Primarily outdoor, live event work environment with evenings, weekends, and holidays required

  • Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the venue

  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40–50 lbs

  • Exposure to variable weather conditions, heat, rain, high wind, etc.

  • Fast-paced environment requiring quick response to on-site needs

    Training, Support, and Accountability:

  • Onboarding, introduction to organizational mission and model 

  • Training specific to Facility Manager role, vendors and operations

Site Crew

Classification: Part-Time/Hourly Seasonal Employee
Location and Hours: Onsite, leading up to and during events (May-October)
Rate: starts at $19.29/hr

Reports To: Facility Manager

Description:

Site Crew support a welcoming concert experience for all staff, artists and visitors for the duration of Levitt Pavilion Denver’s season. Under the supervision of the Facility and Access Manager and Site Leads, a typical Site Crew shift includes venue setup, maintaining clean and safe conditions throughout each event, and teardown and cleaning at the end of the night. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support all opening and closing procedures for the venue, including setup and teardown of tents, tables, signage, barricade and trash/recycling; setup of satellite bars; VIP area barricade and furnishings according to site maps

  • Maintaining facility equipment and infrastructure including storage areas, public restrooms, fencing and scrim, etc.

  • Cleaning duties include picking up trash (with post-event support from Security staff), emptying bins, restroom cleaning, weekly power washing of stage and plaza areas, and ensuring that the venue’s public and back of house areas are clean and organized.

  • Setup support for onsite activations and special events as needed

Production Team
(A1, A2, LD, Stage Hands, Camera Operators)


Classification: Day Rate Contractors

Location and Hours: Onsite, during season (May–October, primarily nights and weekends)

Rate: Varies by event/scheduled shift (see breakdown by role)

Reports To: Production Manager

Description:

The Levitt Denver production team works collaboratively to ensure a seamless and professional production for every concert on the Levitt stage. Reporting to the Production Manager with additional supervision from the Production Coordinator and department leads, roles include Front of House Engineer (A1), Monitor Engineer (A2), Lighting Tech (L2), Stagehands, and Camera Operators.

Competencies, Requirements and Physical Demands:
Familiarity with equipment and technology relevant to each role required. Work environment is outdoors during the evening and night hours. Early morning load-ins are required as needed for audio staff and stagehands. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment is preferred. 


Front of House Engineer (A1)

Rate: starts at $375+/day

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate and mix front of house audio

  • Assist audio and production team in stage setup and tear down, ensuring proper usage of all stage equipment

  • Read input lists and manage stage signal flow


Audio Engineer Monitors (A2)

Rate: starts at $325+/day 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate and mix monitor / artist audio

  • Assist audio and production team in stage setup and tear down, ensuring proper usage of all stage equipment

  • Read input lists and manage stage signal flow


Lighting Engineer (L1)

Rate: starts at $325+/day

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate and design onstage lighting 

  • Assist production team in stage setup and tear down as needed, ensuring proper usage of all stage equipment

Stagehand

Rate: starts at $180+/day

Core Responsibilities:

  • Setup and tear down stage equipment according to artist stage plots, ensuring proper usage of all stage equipment

  • Assist artists with equipment load in and load out

  • Work with backline companies when necessary to properly setup and tear down equipment


Camera Operator

Rate: starts at $150+/day

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate cameras according to direction from Film Director

  • Assist with equipment setup and tear down, ensuring proper usage and storage of cameras and video equipment


Guest Services Staff

  • Classification: Part Time Seasonal

  • Compensation: Starts at $19.29/hour

  • Location and Hours: Onsite; evenings and weekends at least two nights per week.

  • Reports To: Guest Services & Activations Manager

Description:

The Guest Services staff will be the liaison between all guests and the venue. They will manage the check in process, guest lists, sell Levitt merch, distribute VIP & member items, manage special audience engagements and direct VIP guests to their lounge. Interns will have the opportunity to explore additional areas of work as available,  including: graphic design, marketing communications, videography, video production, copywriting, and more.

Core Responsibilities:

The Guest Services team is responsible for knowing which items each VIP or Member guest receives upon check in and properly distributing them upon arrival, maintaining the guest list for artists and industry contacts who attend the show, managing chair rental & Levitt merch sales. You will be the first point of contact for all of our guests and will be tasked with managing ADA needs, events logistics as they arise.

Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal & written communication

  • Organized and able to keep track of a guest list. 

  • Friendly and welcoming approach to guests. Preferred experience navigating Google Suite

Education & Experience:

Current/recent university students, individuals who have completed or are enrolled in relevant community college or certification programs, and individuals with previous internship or work experience in the music industry

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Ability to work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.


Bodies of Culture Content Creator

  • Classification: Part-time, hourly (5-10 hours a week)

  • Location and Hours: Hybrid; remote with occasional onsite presence for events, including evenings

  • Compensation: $20/hr

  • Reports To: Bodies of Culture Program Director

Description

The Content Creator is responsible for managing social media and digital communications for Bodies of Culture (BOC), and creating content that tells the story of the BOC programs, artists and community. This role reports to the BOC Program Director and collaborates closely with the BOC board to capture and share content from events, initiatives, and partnerships, ensuring BOC’s online presence reflects its mission and values.

Bodies of Culture is a program of Levitt Pavilion Denver committed to evolving the local music ecosystem and nurturing belonging and solidarity. BOC is led by Kayla Marque and a self-governing board of musicians of color, community leaders and creatives. Collectively, the BOC board holds decades of experience in the Denver/CO music ecosystem, steeped in advocacy and community building. 

Core Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Content Creation

  • Manage and maintain BOC’s primary social platforms, including Instagram and MailChimp (with others added as needed)

  • Create, schedule, and publish content that aligns with BOC’s voice, values, and mission

  • Write clear, engaging captions for posts, stories, and announcements

Program & Event Coverage

  • Collaborate with the BOC team to capture content at events, including photos, and videos

  • Create and share content highlighting:

    • Monthly open mic nights

    • Mentorship and Fellowship program

    • Community gatherings and partnerships

    • Podcast releases and artist features

    • BOC-affiliated artists, mentors and mentees, partners, and community events

Community Engagement

  • Engage with followers through comments, direct messages, and story interactions

  • Help foster a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming online community

  • Outreach to aligned individuals and organizations to coordinate cross-promotion

Reporting & Insights

  • Track basic social media insights including reach and engagement

  • Share simple monthly summaries with the BOC team to support planning and content strategy

Clear communication, reliability, and flexibility are essential. Additional duties may be assigned based on program needs, event schedules, or organizational priorities.

INTERNSHIPS

Levitt Pavilion Denver partners with the following programs to provide paid career development opportunities each summer:

NIVF - Nation Independent Venue Foundation’s Nationwide VOX Program: A 4-month program designed to support under-recognized groups in the live entertainment industry (POC, women, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities). These programs provide hands-on training, mentorship, and intern opportunities to help participants build careers in live entertainment.

DITA - The Diversity in the Arts (DITA) Internship Program is dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the leadership of the arts & culture nonprofit community in Colorado. Our interns are hired to work a 10-week paid internship at one of DITA's host sites and given tools to grow as advocates for DEI in their workplaces and beyond. Host sites are matched with exceptional college students to work with them full-time over the summer.
